In
addition to on-site, in-house, and online training, MDC
annually hosts regional meetings and IPMaster workshops throughout the
United
States
and Europe. These meetings are an
excellent way to get up-to-date information about MDC’s products
and services, participate in hands-on training sessions, and network
with colleagues and peers
facing similar business
challenges.
We hope you will be able to join us at the regional meeting or IPMaster
workshop nearest you. Below is the 2006 schedule to date. Please be
on the lookout for updates regarding these sessions, contact your area
representative for details, and/or email mdc.info@thomson.com. We
look forward to seeing you at a session in 2006!
REGIONAL MEETINGS
Regional meetings are an excellent way for new users to learn about our product
and service solutions, as well as for existing clients to increase their
product knowledge and efficiencies.
Featured topics tend to include:
• Patent and trademark payment service overviews
• IPMaster updates with presentations that drill down into software enhancements
• Details about new product releases and their features
• Panel discussions covering controversial topics
• Real-world, best-practice presentations from existing clients
• Detailed, hands-on training on topics such as Rules Wizard Administration,
IPMaster use, and others
• IPMaster migration discussions
• Networking opportunities with colleagues and MDC managers
IPMASTER APPLICATION
SUPPORT WORKSHOPS
In order to provide clients with more in-depth training on MDC’s IPMaster
software, we are hosting two comprehensive training workshops each year, at the “Advanced” and “Power
User” levels. These two-day events will feature presentations as well as “hands-on” training
sessions guided by MDC IT and development staff. In addition, the workshops will
provide ample opportunity to network with fellow clients and MDC’s management
team.
The Power User IPMaster Application Support Workshop will
cover topics relevant to end-users, such as docketing managers, patent attorneys,
and data processing staff. Sessions will focus on, but are not limited to,
docketing, rules management, field configuration, and reporting.
The Advanced IPMaster Application Support Workshop will
provide detailed insight into IPMaster’s technical components and requirements
and how to use them more efficiently. This workshop is geared towards software
specialists such as IT managers, database administrators, and systems support
specialists. Sessions will focus on, but are not limited to, database components,
installation, customization, and security.
